Rebel8 R8
Dropping at 11am tomorrow morning at the Rebel8 online store, this black on black fitted is too dope. Many New Era fanatics seek these black on black models so grab one while you can. Rebel8 keeps dropping fresh lines and we can expect more from them this winter.

This project between “producers trying their hands at rapping” Oh No & Alchemist has been talked about for a while now, and its turning out to be as wonderfully bizarre as I though. There is an album from these two in the pipeline somewhere, hopefully it will develop more when ALC’s Chemical Warfare album is out of the way.

No idea why I like this track, Juelz just has, for the lack of a better word, swagger. Am almost beginning to regret posting this, Jee4ce where you at? You love this shit, right?

This is the official video for Birdy Nam Nam’s newest release. Slick animation and beautiful artwork make it a joy to watch. I know what some of you are thinking, yes this is the same Birdy Nam Nam who used to make laid back dark chilled out tracks but times and people change, so they are doin their “electro” thing right now. They have a live DVD coming out soon as while which looks to have some very slick production and editing. If you got excited by the thought of the old style Birdy Nam Nam, check out the video below.
I have no problems with their new direction or anything but i find it odd how this is the same crew how had beef with fellow french turntablist C2C. Their problem was that C2C pressed vinyl to use in battles, whereas Birdy Nam Nam prided themselves on using real records, finding match keys and notes from different records. Odd how they have easily made the move to Serato and electro.

Skateboard P talks about his involvement in what will undoubtedly be the biggest skate film produced thus far. Still iffy about the “anthem” hopping over fences track, i can see what he was going for, but back when i was skating hip hop like Dilated Peoples, Quasimoto, Dilla and S.A.S were my soundtrack. Film looks interesting though.
